Dr. Fung, Sum Wing Synthia is a Lecturer in the Academic Unit of Language and Literacy Education within the Faculty of Education at The University of Hong Kong (HKU). She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), alongside a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (with Distinction), a Master of Education, and a PhD from HKU. Dr. Fung's core research and teaching expertise covers reading instruction programs, literacy strategies, Chinese language pedagogy, and the instruction of classical Chinese literature.
