
慕容嘉英
Dr. Karen K. Y. Mo Yung is a Lecturer in the Academic Unit of Language and Literacy Education within the Faculty of Education at the University of Hong Kong. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Hong Kong, where her doctoral research investigated the promotion of teachers' professional development through school-based Confucian culture modules. Her core research interests encompass Chinese language assessment, Chinese language curriculum design, Chinese language education, and the ongoing professional growth of Chinese language teachers. At the university, Dr. Mo Yung teaches extensively across undergraduate and postgraduate teacher training programs, including the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education (BA&BEd) and the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE). Her instructional areas specialize in Chinese language pedagogy, collaborative lesson inquiry, curriculum leadership, and teaching Putonghua as a subject. In addition to her teaching, she contributes to academic mentorship by serving as a research co-supervisor for postgraduate students within the faculty.
