Dr. KI Wing Wah is a former Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education, the University of Hong Kong, a founding member of the Centre for Advancement of Chinese Language Education and Research (CACLER), former Deputy Director of the Teacher Support Centre for Mother Tongue Education, and a leading member of the Dragonwise Research Group. His teaching and research areas include theories of teaching and learning, phenomenography and cross-cultural understanding, computer science education, information technology in education, language teaching and technology application, online networks and teacher development, and the psychology of mathematical problem solving. He previously served as Chairman of the Hong Kong Association for Computer Education, Deputy Director of the Hong Kong Cyber Campus, Deputy Director of the Centre for Information Technology in Education (CITE) at the University of Hong Kong, and Deputy Director of the Teacher Network for English Language Education (TeleNex). His co-edited publications include Variation Theory and the Learning Space (《變易理論與學習空間》), Analysis of Good Practices of IT Application in Teaching (《教學上應用資訊科技優秀案例剖析》), Changing Classrooms and Changing Schools: a Study of Good Practices in Using ICT in Hong Kong Schools, Chinese Language Learning and Teaching of Non-Chinese Speaking Students (《非華語學生的中文學與教》), and Research on Chinese Language Learning Among Ethnic Minority Students in Hong Kong (《香港少數族裔學生學習中文的研究》).
