
Loh, Ka Yee Elizabeth
Prof. Elizabeth Loh Ka-yee is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education at The University of Hong Kong (HKU), where she previously served as Programme Director of Double Degree Programmes (2017–2025) and Assistant Dean for Knowledge Exchange (2019–2024). She is also an Adjunct Professor at the Education University of Indonesia and a former Honorary Professor at Radboud University. Her research focuses on IT-assisted language learning, Chinese first/second language pedagogies, and learning motivation, yielding an extensive portfolio of books, refereed journal articles, and mobile applications. As a principal investigator, Prof. Loh has led numerous large-scale educational projects funded by major bodies including the UGC, QEF, SCOLAR, and the SIE Fund, earning international and institutional accolades for her contributions.
