
Lo, Man Fong
Mr. Lo Man Fong, Alain is a veteran language educator who served as a Lecturer in the Chinese Language and Literature section and as the School-University Partnerships Director within the Faculty of Education at The University of Hong Kong (HKU). Prior to his retirement, he specialized in Chinese language teaching, classical Chinese pedagogy, and the strategic development of local Chinese language curricula. An expert in practical classroom implementation, Mr. Lo extensively collaborated with the Centre for Advancement of Chinese Language Education and Research (CACLER) on large-scale pedagogical initiatives. Notably, he pioneered co-authored instructional guides combining Cantonese opera with senior secondary school curricula and spearheaded localized speech and interactive oral communication research frameworks across Hong Kong secondary school networks.
